Position Paper

We'll publish our position paper here before ThimbleCare opens to the public.

[FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: final paper. Expected pre-launch, mid-2026.]

The position paper explains, in one public document, exactly what ThimbleCare is and exactly what it is not. Specifically:

• ThimbleCare is a record-keeping and invoicing tool used by an NDIS support worker and the participant they already work with.
• ThimbleCare is not a marketplace. Workers and participants do not meet through us.
• ThimbleCare is not a payment processor. No money moves through our systems.
• ThimbleCare is not a claim submitter to the NDIA. Invoices are generated here but sent to plan managers or to participants by the worker, not by us.
• ThimbleCare is not a mandatory reporter. We don't report incidents on a worker's behalf or on a participant's behalf.
• ThimbleCare is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NDIS, the NDIA, or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

The full paper, with regulatory grounding, scope boundaries, and data-flow diagrams, will be published here before the first paying customer onboards.
